Pedersen Volvo / Toyota is growing! Five years ago the Pedersen family purchased the 28-year-old Mini U Storage facility in front of the Volvo showroom. As Fort Collins continues to grow, Pedersen has also decided to grow their brand. The aquisition of the Mini U Storage facility will accomodate a $7 million expansion that includes a four-story vehicle storage building and an additional building to house a car wash, expanded showroom and service bays. The project will nearly double Pedersen’s footprint.
This will be the first expansion and renovation for Pedersen Volvo / Toyota in its 22 years at the corner of College Avenue and Kensington Drive.
Pedersen started Pedersen Volvo / Toyota in Fort Collins in the early 1970s at 1113 N. College Ave. In 1992, he moved the facility to its present Toyota location before splitting the Toyota and Volvo dealerships in March 2000.
